What is clear from all this information is that society is complex. And this data only really scratches the surface of what is available.
Likewise it emphasizes the need to be up to date with what is going on in the community and where it is going on. Such analysis is not the be all and end all - a lot of community information simply cannot be quantified, and if it can, it often is available too late. But a lot of information is very relevant. This sort of data should be a core component in forming any community strategy and the tactics used to implement that strategy.
This work can be followed up with more sophisticated analysis, such as statistical modelling combining variables and scoring regions on certain criteria or time series analysis to predict future outcomes.
